Soft Soldering Workshop Daylesford Repair Cafe

The August Repair Cafe we will include a Workshop on the application of ‘SOFT SOLDERING’ and its many uses. Some of the uses include making and repairing Jewellery, assembling of Circuit Boards, repairing Electronic devices, securing electrical components, joining Copper pipes and fittings. The Workshop will be run by Susan and Julian, our expert Fixers in this area. Come along and see what can be achieved.

In addition to the Workshop there’ll be the usual repair stations- mechanical, knife and tool sharpening, electrical, clothes, household items and more, plus cuppas and cakes at our Cafe.

We had a successful Darning Workshop in July, with many new skills learned and good conversation held around the table, amongst cups of tea/coffee and a bite to eat from the delicious selection of sweet and savoury afternoon tea.
