What else can be fixed?

Join us at the Repair Cafe between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday, August 20th and see what else our team of fixers are capable of repairing. Our team of fixers and supporters can sharpen knives, scissors and garden tools. We can mend clothes, cushions and soft toys. We can repair bicycles, prams and other wheeled items. And household appliances as well as electronics are also able to be fixed. Enjoy a cuppa, cake and conversation while you’re there. And we also have a ‘mending broken hearts table’ for those in need of a listening ear.

We’re always looking for people who have skills in repair including people who can sew and repair clothes, so let us know if you’d like to join the sewing repair team.

See you on Sunday for an afternoon of fixing and keeping things out of landfill. For further information, contact Veronica Baker (0428 180 200) or Danny Kinnear (0488 604 231). Or check out the Daylesford Repair Cafe Facebook page.

Here’s a link to the YouTube clip with young Woody showing us how to sharpen secareurs, just to whet your appetite!
