Daylesford Arts Presents: Sketch and Sip
Creativity and Conversation at “Sketch and Sip”
A new community arts initiative is launching in Daylesford this winter, inviting locals to unwind with an afternoon of drawing, wine and creative connection.
Daylesford Arts Presents: Sketch and Sip will be the first event presented under the new Daylesford Arts Presents banner and will be held at Daylesford Town Hall on Sunday, June 7 from 1pm to 4pm.
Hosted by local artists and Daylesford Arts members Sandy Angliss, Leonie Leivenzon and Kirsty Madigan, the workshop is designed to welcome everyone from complete beginners to experienced creatives.
Attendees will explore a range of accessible drawing techniques while enjoying a relaxed social atmosphere. The session will introduce participants to concepts such as perspective, proportion, form and shading, along with practical experience using materials including charcoal and pastels.
Organisers hope the event will inspire creativity while creating opportunities for community connection through art in an informal and supportive setting.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite at $60 for Daylesford Arts members and $75 for non-members.
