Christ Church concert series: The Mad Lover

Christ Church Concerts begins its 2025 season with The Mad Lover, featuring soprano Kate Macfarlane and harpist Hannah Lane on Saturday, 8 March at 2:30 PM in Daylesford’s Christ Church. The concert will present a selection of music exploring themes of love, longing, and reflection.

Following her performance in last year’s season opener, Lane returns with Macfarlane to perform a program that blends 17th-century English mad songs, folk melodies, and contemporary compositions. The repertoire includes works by Henry Purcell, John Eccles, Benjamin Britten, and Kate Moore.
