Ceramics by Steph Wallace

Created on Wadawurrung Country, this exhibition draws inspiration from the Goldfields landscape and its hidden underground terrain. Through contemporary ceramics, Wallace explores themes of endurance, transformation and connection to place. Referencing the remarkable annual migration of the endangered Bogong Moth, the works reflect quiet resilience, beauty and persistence—offering a poetic meditation on change, renewal and belonging.

Steph Wallace is an award-winning ceramic artist with a national profile, whose work has been exhibited at leading institutions and held in public collections. Her practice brings together material experimentation, landscape and storytelling, creating works that invite introspection and reflection.
