Book of the Month Club: First Meeting Thursday 27th June

Craving a fresh read and don’t know where to start? Want to participate in literary conversations with a welcoming crowd? Ready to be part of your local community and chat about the best thing in the whole world – BOOKS!!!

Paradise Bookshop is pleased to be hosting the Book of the Month Club – a new monthly meetup where we explore new books and build a shared literary language–and you might just discover a new author or book you love!

Each month our team will select a Book of the Month from our new releases and at the event we’ll read an excerpt from the book aloud (10–15 minutes), followed by a lively group discussion. Unlike a normal book club, there is no requirement to have already read the book – just rock up and we’ll read it to you, and then we will mull it over together (and you can grab a copy if it strikes your fancy!).

Time: 11:30am–2:30pm

Where: Paradise Bookshop back room–ground floor and heated, comfortable seating provided

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided.

The book is available for purchase now and at the Book of the Month Club event.

You are welcome to drop in any time during the event.
