So Lockdown V5.0 is out the way! That doesn’t mean it’s all back to “normal” though. The DNC is still living with restrictions, but they have been loosened slightly. Masks however, will be required for all indoors and outdoor settings for the foreseeable future. DNC have masks available for any vulnerable members of our community who may not be able to afford to purchase their own supply. Please call in if you need a quantity of single use masks. DNC also still have some handmade, re-usable cloth masks for sale as well.
Currently, DNC have a range of classes available that might help lift our spirits. They have Yoga, TaiChi, 8 Silken Movements and Stretch Therapy still running. We all know that movement and keeping fit is paramount for good mental health. Why not try a class? It might mean stepping out of your comfort zone, but you might feel better afterwards! If you have any questions, or would like to attend a class, please call the relevant tutor. Tutor numbers are listed in the brochure at this link.
DNC are currently offering assistance to those who may not be able to navigate the system to apply for the $250 Power Saving Bonus. Call the centre to make an appointment if you need help with applying for the bonus (eligibility criteria applies).
