Well known local citizens, Danny Moynihan and David Hall, have been announced as the Faces of the Daylesford Hospital Upgrade Community Campaign.
Chair of the Campaign, Cr Lesley Hewitt said, “I am delighted to announce that Danny and David will be the faces of the Community Campaign.”
Cr Hewitt also congratulated Danny Moynihan for receiving the 2022 award of Hepburn Shire Citizen of the Year noting that this is the highest Council recognition of a citizen in Hepburn Shire. “Danny has been an outstanding contributor to our community for over 37 years, and we are privileged to have him as a member of the Community Campaign Committee,” she said.
David Hall, also a member of the Community Campaign Committee who was Hepburn Citizen of the Year in 2020, said, “Danny and I are pleased to support the Campaign. Our families and friends have benefited from the Daylesford Hospital services over the years. It is really important to keep the Hospital going.”
Support will be sought from the Daylesford community for the Hospital upgrade following the release of the Masterplan, which is nearing completion. The Masterplan is due for public release in late February.
