Curbside Carnies is an innovative new performing arts project, devised and created during lockdown to bring some much-needed fun back to the Lockdown Capital of Australia.
Curbside Carnies is a circus for a COVID world. It’s contactless! It’s distanced! And it’s sanitised!
The Carnies roll a custom-built roving stage to various locations to perform circus shows throughout the day. Audiences will be delighted by a variety of circus acts from neighbourhood performers – including hula hooping, juggling, acrobatics, unicycle and fire performance. The show includes interactive elements with group play time and circus play space at end. The show is suitable for kids of all ages.
In the September School Holidays, Curbside Carnies are coming to the ARC. This event is sponsored by by VicHealth and Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre. This is a free event but to comply with contact tracing rules tickets are required for each person who will be attending (ie: adults/carers/grandparents etc).
