A positive COVID case and three exposure sites have been found in Daylesford. Exposure risks have been identified for the Springs Medical Centre, Cliffy’s Emporium and Pancho’s Cafe on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The Springs Medical Centre  has been advised by the Department of Health that a positive COVID-19 case visited Springs Medical Daylesford 10 Hospital Street on Wednesday 8th September.The Springs have closed the Daylesford clinic for deep cleaning. Springs Medical Daylesford has been declared a Tier 1 Exposure Site.

It appears the case is a staff member who worked Tuesday 7th September at Beppe’s Kitchen and Bar in Raglan Street  has tested positive for COVID-19. Beppe’s is working closely with the Department of Health.  As a precaution they will be closed from tonight to allow their team to get tested.

Cliffy’s Emporium, which is associated with Beppe’s, was an exposure site on Tuesday the 7th of September between 3.20 and 8.45 pm.

Pancho’s Cafe at 117 Vincent St was also an exposure site between 10.20 and 11 am on Wednesday the 8th of September.

Anyone who attended an exposure site during the times listed should follow the Department guidelines for Tier 1 exposure – www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/case-alerts-public-exposure-sites: You will need to immediate isolate and get a COVID-19 test and quarantine for 14 days from the 8th of September.

A pop-up drive through testing site will be set up in Daylesford at Victoria Park this afternoon (Saturday 11th September). Located at Ballan-Daylesford Road Daylesford, no appointment required.
