Council offices, libraries, hubs and transfer stations will be closed from 12 noon today (Friday, December17 ) to allow all staff to attend an end of year meeting. This is the first time Council staff have met face-to-face for 18 months because of COVID restrictions. Council services will reopen on Saturday (December 18) in line with our usual operating hours.
Over the Christmas and New Year period, Council offices, depots, hubs and libraries will close at 2.00pm on Friday, December 24, and reopen on Tuesday, January 4.
Transfer Stations will be open as usual over the festive season except for Christmas Day and any Code Red days.
For Council-related animal emergencies (eg. dog attacks and stock on Council roads) during the festive season phone 0419 587 955. For all other Council-related emergencies phone 0419 583 573.
Kerbside bin collection will be unchanged over the festive period. Bins should be put out as usual.
