Round 3 of Community Grants will open next week on 8 February 2022.
Council is offering $65,000 in Community Grants this financial year to not for profit Community Groups or organisations for the benefit of the Hepburn Shire Community.
Mayor, Cr Tim Drylie, said that community grants gave community groups with some much needed assistance to deliver important programs. “These grants help community groups bring ideas to life and deliver programs that may not have been possible without some assistance. I encourage community groups to get involved and apply for a chance to secure a portion of this available funding,” said Cr Drylie.
This round will include the category Charitable Purposes. If you are a community group that would like to provide programs, activities or events for vulnerable or disadvantaged community members contact an officer today. This grant is available for existing and ongoing programs.Round 3 categories include:
- Active and Engaged Communities
- Quality Community Infrastructure (including small equipment)
- Sustainable Environments
- Children’s Program (specifically for 8 – 12 years)
- Charitable Purposes
Round 3 will open 8 February and close 1 March 2022. Guidelines for the grants are available on the Council website. Applications are also available on the website.
