St. John’s Ambulance Daylesford Division has been awarded $2,425 in the latest round of Community Grants. The grant is for essential small equipment.
Other groups across the Shire shared in the $8,924 total of grants awarded in the fourth and final round of Community Grants for 2020/2021.
Creswick Amateur Theatre Group ($2,029), Trentham Sustainability Group ($2,350), Pavilion Arts & Sustainability ($1,704) and Kingston Friends of the Avenue ($416) also received grants in this round.
“Our community grants can make a big difference for local groups and organisations to deliver projects that benefit our region. We’re pleased to be able to support such a variety of local projects for our community,” said Mayor, Cr Lesley Hewitt.
Council has awarded $65,000 through the community grants program in 2020/2021.
