Community Bank Daylesford District, part of Bendigo Bank, is proud to announce its continued support as a sponsor of the ChillOut Festival for the fifth year. The ChillOut Festival is Australia’s largest and longest running regional pride event held annually in Daylesford, Victoria over the Labour Day long weekend in March.
Co-Chairs of Daylesford District Community Developments Phil Lavelle and Phil Gay said the sponsorship is a demonstration of Bendigo Bank and Community Bank Daylesford’s commitment to inclusivity and equality.
“We believe it’s important to champion and celebrate diversity in all its forms, so we’re excited to continue our sponsorship of the ChillOut Festival. We are a proud ally to our rainbow community across Daylesford, Hepburn and surrounding areas and we hope to make a meaningful difference as the better big bank for everyone,” Phil Gay said.
Phil Lavelle added “Come and say hello to our local team on Sunday 9 March and for your chance to win a colourful or yummy prize as our popular spinning wheel game makes a return to the festival.”
Community Bank branches are providing more than just quality local banking. They deliver employment opportunities for locals, keep local capital in the community, and share a portion of their profits to fund important community projects.
Community Bank Daylesford District has shared more than $895,000 of profits since it opened including funding a “Band It” machine to repair fire hoses to be used by 10 local CFA brigades, sponsoring Daylesford Highland Gathering’s successful 2024 event, and continued support for RDA Daylesford, Good Grub Club Daylesford, and New Year’s Day Mixed Sports Day in Glenlyon – amongst many others.
