This weekend, the Clunes Booktown Festival returns!
For two days, the main street the historic Clunes township will transform into a spectacular book bazaar. Over fifty specialist book traders will offer an extraordinary range – new and second- hand, antiquarian, and contemporary, rare and popular – covering every imaginable topic and theme.
The Festival is one of the highlights of the region but, sadly, has been cancelled due to COVID restrictions for the past two years.
Festival tickets are available on-line ($10 adults, $5 students) and give access to book-browsing, exhibitions, music performances, kids activities and free talks.
Festival Talks with prominent authors are a feature of the Festival Program. The Talks schedule is available online. Tickets for ticketed talks are an additional $15 and are available through the website.
Look for local author, Jill Tschendorff, author of Grow Wild, in conversation with Millie Ross (ABC The Thrifty Gardener) and Fiona Scott Norman (This Chicken Life) on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Clunes Town Hall.
