It’s almost that time of year again. Cliffy’s Christmas fundraiser is back this December, raising funds for our local CFA brigades – the volunteers who keep us safe all year round. In the past 7 years more than $100,000 has been donated with nearly 500 businesses making contributions.
This year $18,000 worth of prizes are being donated for the raffle. Businesses from throughout the entire Daylesford and Hepburn Shire have dug deep to contribute donations and vouchers the original works of art; holiday accommodation; restaurant and cafe vouchers, gourmet hampers; local wines, spirits and beers; spa, beauty and massage vouchers; retail shopping; tourist attractions and more.
The proceeds from this year’s raffle will directly support our local Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigades including Daylesford, Hepburn, Franklinford, Glenlyon, Musk, Leonards Hill and Porcupine Ridge – the dedicated heroes who tirelessly safeguard our community. From extinguishing fires to assisting during emergencies, they are the backbone of our safety, investing countless hours in training, preparedness, and response.
There are 8 prizes to be won ranging in value from $5,000 to $1,440.
First prize Includes:
- Discover Daylesford – Two-night weekend getaway staying in the magnificent 4 bedroom home Hakka Guesthouse on over an acre of gardens. Up to 8 guests. (*Select dates apply)
- Best’s Wines – 12 Bottles of 2021 Best’s Great Western Bin 1 Shiraz
- Ryan Andrijich – Private Cooking Masterclass and lunch for up to 6 people (whilst staying at Hakka Guesthouse)
- Spring Creek Mineral Water – Case of premium local mineral water 750ml
- Daylesford Railway – Family pass (Up to 2 adults and 3 children). Take a journey through rich, fertile farmlands and old forests as you pass through Musk, award-winning Passing Clouds winery and onto Bullarto. Dogs on lead welcome.
Tickets are $10 each or 12 for $100 and 25 for $200. Tickets can be purchased online here. The prizes will be drawn on the 25th of December.
