It’s time to get all those jobs done around garden and, with cool wet spring days still around, there’s still more wood to be chain-sawed. So, come along to the Repair Cafe this Sunday afternoon and learn how to sharpen your chain saw and your garden tools. One of our skilled fixers, Patrick Jones, will show you how.

What else can be fixed? Join us at the Repair Café between 1 pm and 4 pm on Sunday, October 16th and see what else our team of fixers are capable of repairing. Our fixers and supporters can sharpen knives, scissors and garden tools. We can mend clothes, cushions and soft toys. We can repair bicycles, prams and other wheeled items. And household appliances as well as electronics can also be fixed. Enjoy a cuppa, cake and conversation while you’re there. And we also have a ‘mending broken hearts table’ for those in need of a listening ear.

What to bring: Bring your chain saw and garden tools in need of sharpening.
When: Sunday October 16th, 1.30-3.30pm
Where: Victoria Park Pavillion, Ballan Road, Daylesford
Cost: Entry by Donation

We’re always looking for people who can sew and repair clothes, so let us know if you’d like to join the sewing repair team.

See you on Sunday for an afternoon of fixing and keeping things out of landfill.
