As the cold sets in, many in our community are facing winter without the basics to stay warm. The DNC collecting and distributing winter essentials to support those feeling the cold. If you’ve got something useful tucked away in a cupboard, your contribution would be welcome.

The Daylesford Fire Brigade has launched a recruitment campaign to attract new members.  The brigade is calling on locals from Daylesford and surrounding towns to turn their spare time into something extraordinary by becoming volunteer firefighters.

The Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre (DNC) Committee of Management, staff, and volunteers are immensely proud of Lynda (Daisy) Poke, who was recently inducted into the Heather Mutimer Roll of Honour.

Many people wish to trace family members who lived in the area or search for information about past owners of their properties. The Daylesford and District Historical society has extensive records that are not available on line. Museum volunteers are ready to lend a hand.

The DNC is looking for help to re-design their kitchen. There are school holiday art classes for children. And the DNC committee needs a couple of fresh faces.
