The growing accumulation of tributes at the sculpture in Wills Square adjacent to the Daylesford Royal Hotel is as much a tribute to our community’s first responders as it is to the victims of Sunday’s tragedy. Our CFA and SES volunteers, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria paramedics deserve our admiration, our thanks and our unreserved support.

Expanded Services for Local Pharmacies Available at Blooms the Chemist

Bloom’s the Chemist in Daylesford is participating in a 12-month trial aimed at making basic health care more accessible and affordable and reducing the load on General Practitioners. Available services include advice or treatment for women with uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) or a resupply of their existing contraceptive pill without needing a prescription and a broader public health vaccination offering, travel health consultations and treatment for mild skin conditions.

Vigil for Victims of Burke Square Tragedy

Hepburn Shire Council has offered deepest condolences to the family and friends of those who were tragically killed and injured as a result of the horrific event in Daylesford yesterday. Council will support a vigil for victims of the accident this evening behind the Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre starting at 6:00 pm.
