A event was held in the band room at the Daylesford museum to celebrate the reopening the room as part of the ongoing renewal of the Daylesford Museum complex. The state government has released draft targets for housing growth across the state which identify specific targets for local government areas as a basis for negotiation with individual local councils. The current Draft Structure Plans for the Shire has a similar but slightly higher target rate for new housing.
