Local History Grants Awarded

The state government is supporting community and history organisations to capture Macedon’s diverse history, making it available for more people to discover and enjoy. In the latest round of the Local History Grants, 40 projects shared in grants totalling $350,000 as part of the program run by Public Record Office Victoria.

Car Upgrades for Young People

The Victorian Government is giving more young people in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs the chance to save money and ditch their older model cars for a safer, more modern vehicle. Up to 150 drivers across Regional Victoria, aged 18-25 years old, will take part in this phase of the program, which will provide a $5,000 subsidy to replace their unsafe and older vehicle with a safer, newer vehicle.
