Afterwards, a gift wrapped in joy,
As this time of sadness passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of contentment, spontaneity and serenity.

Afterwards, a gift wrapped in calm,
As this time of stress passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of rest, contentment, and tranquillity

Afterwards, a gift wrapped in strength,
As the time of fragility passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of resilience, perseverance and warmth.

Afterwards, a gift wrapped in hope,
As this time of fear passes.
Open the gift and you will find
You’re present of clarity, insight and safety

Afterwards, a gift wrapped in closeness,
As this time of separation passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of touch, hope and shared delight.

Afterwards, a gift wrapped in kindness,
As this time of hate passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of acceptance, tolerance and generosity.

Afterwards, a gift especially for you,
As this time passes.
Open the gift and you will find
Your present of renewal; life goes on.
