The doors of The Phoenix Cinema are opening in April in the Rex building. This time, it’s more than just a cinema, it’s an entirely new, exciting chapter for bringing together both local, neighbouring communities and regional visitors.
The Cinema is easing in with a soft launch, beginning with an Easter kids’ program starting on Saturday April 4th and continuing through the school holidays until April 19th.
The Rex has been transformed into a stunning new retail and entertainment hub with the Bromley and Co. Gallery relocating their Art space on the ground floor.
The cinema is located on the upper floor overlooking the balcony and we plan to host more than just movies. Space is being offered to rent for private celebratory functions, parties, music events, theatre and comedy shows and community gatherings outside showtime hours.
Soak it in, and experience the magic of cinema as it returns to Daylesford. The new space has been carefully renovated and reimagined to benefit our entire community.
