The Victorian State Government is backing our creative industries, supporting new ideas, creative careers and jobs.
Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas has announced the 2026 round of the Creative Projects Fund is now open.

The fund provides one-off grants of between $10,000 and $30,000 to support projects led by Victorian artists, creative collectives and micro-organisations.
Projects can include new work, professional and career development opportunities and innovative projects.
Dedicated streams of the Creative Projects Fund will continue to support First Peoples creatives and Deaf and Disabled creatives.
Applications will be assessed by industry experts.
The First Peoples stream will be assessed by First Peoples creatives and the Deaf and Disabled stream by creatives with lived experience.
Last year the program backed 115 diverse projects across Victoria – supporting more than 1,000 job opportunities.
Projects ranged from new albums and graphic novels to artist residencies, circus performances, film scores, fashion collections and immersive theatre experiences for children and families.
Victoria’s creative industries are a major economic driver – contributing $41.1 billion to the state’s economy.
They employ more than 337,000 workers, almost nine per cent of the workforce.
Projects supported through this round of the Creative Projects Fund will commence from 1 October 2026.
