Community groups across Hepburn Shire are encouraged to apply for funding as Council opens the latest round of its Community Grants Program.
The program, which supports community-based projects and initiatives, will open Monday 16 March and close Friday 15 May 2026.
Mayor, Cr Tony Clark, said Council was keen to hear about projects that enhance the social, environmental and economic life of the Hepburn Shire community.
“Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded to not-for-profit community groups to deliver projects that promote community wellbeing, increase social connection, and build capacity for long-term sustainability,” said Cr Clark.
Projects that align with the key focus areas in the Council Plan 2025–2029 or benefit priority groups outlined in the incorporated Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan are strongly encouraged.
“Community organisations, volunteer groups and local initiatives that contribute to a stronger and more connected community are invited to submit applications during the funding period,” he said.
