Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre is pleased to announce the release of its Term 1, 2026 Program Brochure, marking the beginning of an exciting and community-focused year ahead. The new brochure is packed with opportunities for learning, creativity, wellbeing and connection, reflecting the Centre’s ongoing commitment to building a strong, inclusive and resilient local community.
What’s New in 2026
One of the most exciting, much anticipated additions to the centre is the impending arrival of the Good Grub Club. We look forward to welcoming The Good Grub Club and supporting their mission to strengthen social connection while supporting healthy, affordable and enjoyable eating for everyone
We are also delighted to continue the Paddock Project, which remains a cornerstone of our sustainability and community growing initiatives. This much-loved project supports hands-on learning, food growing, environmental awareness and meaningful community engagement, helping participants connect with nature, develop practical skills and build confidence.

Building Community Safety and Resilience
In 2026, Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre is proud to partner with the Hepburn Shire Emergency Management Team to deliver a series of workshops focused on emergency preparedness, community safety and capacity building. These sessions will equip residents with practical knowledge, skills and resources to better prepare for emergencies, respond safely and support one another in times of need — strengthening resilience across our community.
Eco and Sustainability Workshops with ReaWear
Our sustainability program continues to grow through our partnership with ReaWear, delivering hands-on creative workshops that promote waste reduction and upcycling. One highlight this term is the FREE Eco Workshop: Create Denim Flower Pins, running on Thursday 5 February from 10.30am to 12pm. Participants will learn how to transform old denim into beautiful handmade flower pins — a fun, accessible way to explore sustainable crafting and creative reuse. Bookings can be made online at www.dncentre.org.au/courses or by calling 5348 3569.
