The fundraising campaign for the wonderful window wombats is off to a flying start. The wombats, painted by artists associated with Daylesford, including David Bromley, are on display in windows in Vincent Street. $1700 has been raised in the first week.

The wombats are up for auction to raise funds for Rotary and the Men’s Shed. Part of the proceeds will also go to the artists.

The blanks for the artists to paint on were made by the Men’s Shed and distributed to participating local shops by Rotary volunteers

The online auction will run until January. You can bid on the wombats online here, or view the actual wombats in Vincent Street and scan the QR code in the window next to each wombat. They could be a wonderful present for someone over the festive season. Get your bids for a worthy cause and a unique piece of art now!
