Both Andrea Berchtold (a Swiss Australian dancer) and Helen Davey Cox (an Australian Swiss musician)  have juggled living and working  between Switzerland and Australia for decades: straddling two picturesque places with complex cultural and familial dynamics. This has been their respective “SPAGAT”: a situation requiring balance between two opposing things.

This has provided endless food for thought and discussion, understandings and misunderstandings, joys and sorrows … and artistic  inspirations. Together they present a cross-disciplinary, wholly improvised performance, inviting the audience into an interactive experience with `Sound-Paintngs’.
