Dance and clap your way through Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Scandinavia and beyond with Band without Borders!

Band without Borders, formally known as The KGB, hail from various towns and villages from Victoria’s central highlands. They are drawn together by a love and passion for music from the Middle East, Balkans and Scandinavia.

Band Without Borders (AKA The KGB) is a long established Central Highlands Ensemble with members now spanning from Hepburn Springs through to Bendigo. We have grown from a humble community band to a polished 10 piece outfit.

With relentless passion and enthusiasm we fill a room with beautiful music that makes our audience happy and want to dance. We appeal to all ages. Our music is timeless, accessible and contagious.

Band Without Borders has played at the Newport Folk festival,  Newstead Live, Zingaro Eastern European Music Festival, and even a Bar Mitzvah! We have an extensive dance repertoire developed from countless community dances.  Most recently on performed at the Castlemaine Over the Moon Dance end of year celebration.
