After the success of the 2022 concert series, Christ Church Concerts are mounting a Music Festival on Saturday 18 March. The festival will present four separate concerts over the day.

The festival will present wonderful chamber music in the initimate settings of the historic Christ Church and Stanbridge Hall, both with excellent acoustic qualities for which they are renowned.

The four concerts will represent some of the finest chamber music and showcase both leading and emerging musicians from both our local region, Melbourne, interstate and overseas. Ensembles include the Hepburn Players, The Recorder Co-op and Auncient Hermony. Latin classical guitarist, Sergio Ercole, will present a solo concert. Concerts will include music composed over a 500 year period, including some contemporary music, composed by the musicians themselves.

To accommodate the high demand experienced last year, concerts will be held simultaneously in Christ Church and the Stanbridge Hall. There will be two concerts in each venue in the morning and another two in the afternoon. Audiences will move between the two venues so that over the day, it will be possible to see all four concerts.

The first two concerts will commence at 11am. There will be a pause of 70 minutes for a lunch break between morning and afternoon concerts with patrons being encouraged to bring picnic lunches and picnic rugs to enjoy in the church gardens. Wine and soft drinks will be on sale.

Tickets are available for single concerts or day passes are available for all four concerts. For booking and tickets, www.trybooking.com/CFPTX
