Hepburn A Grade netballers continued their winning way defeating Gordon 62-21 last weekend. Hepburn remains on top of the CHFL ladder on percentage. In their effort to emulate the senior team, the Under-17s also had a strong win 46-3 and also remain undefeated on top of their CHFL ladder.  Hepburn B Grade team went down 43-37 and the C grade team lost 36-27. The Under-15s won 33-9 and the Under-13 team defeated Gordon 13-10.

Daylesford B Grade netballers went down 40-31 and the C Grade team lost 27-9. The Under 17s lost 21-10 but the Under 15s won 15-8. The Under-13s went down to Waubra 18-6.

Gordon Eagles handed Hepburn Burras their first defeat of the season in a return to action after COVID restrictions interrupted the Central Highlands Football League. Gordon’s 15.10-100 was too good for Hepburn’s 9.11-65. Jaymes Gorman kicked 5.3 for the Eagles while Sam Dunstan, Kyle Yanner and Tom Brown kicked 2 each for the Burras. The Hepburn Reserves  came from one goal down at the last break and held Gordon goalless in the final quarter to win 7.7-49 to 6.5-41. Gordon under-18s were too good for Hepburn winning 17.14-116 to 4.3-27. Hepburn Under-15s will be looking to improve their kicking for goal after losing a close match 6.7-43 to 5.13-42. The Under-12s kicked 3.11-29 to defeat Gordon 1 point.

Daylesford Bulldogs were at Waubra and started well leading by 2.3 after the first quarter.  Waubra rebounded in the second quarter to lead by 9 points at half time but the difference was only 1 point at the final break. Unfortunately, Daylesford didn’t score in the final quarter and Waubra went on to win 13.6-84 to 8.9-57. James Hallett kicked 4 goals for Waubra; Sam Winnard wat the top goal scorer for Daylesford with 3 goals 2. Waubra Reserves were too much for Daylesford leading from the start to win 12.8-80 to 5.4-34. The Bulldogs Under 18s were defeated 3.3-21 to 10.12-72 but the Under 15s had a good day out winning 10.9-69 to 4.3-27. Jack French kicked 4 goals 4 for Daylesford. Daylesford Under-12s kicked 1 point each quarter but finished second to Waubra 0.4-4 to 4.2-26.

Both clubs are at home this weekend. Daylesford will host Skipton and Hepburn will host Dunnstown.
