K.G. Munro

Staring into the heart of the monotonous waves,
Wondering if my soul will defrost
From the cold touch of being unwanted
The sea foam bubbling like the mess inside my mind
On my hand I have a cornflower tattoo
Deeper than the navy blue
At the bottom of the water
Golden hour is over
As the light turns into the darkness
The universe loses its warmth
Stars are dazzling
Dropping stardust into the reflection of the ocean
Carrying my hopes with them
Nature is my only companion
Like the blues staining my mood.
