Sporting Club Grants Program open

The Victorian State Government is making local sports more affordable for everyone to play from Basketball to Soccer.  

Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas has announced the opening of the Sporting Club Grants Program for the Macedon electorate to get more Victorians active with their local clubs. 

Mary-Anne Thomas, State Member for Macedon said “I encourage all our local sporting clubs across Macedon to apply.”

The Program helps clubs create more opportunities for players, coaches, volunteers and officials to get involved. 

Grants of up to $5,000 are available through the Sporting Club Grants Program for clubs to improve the skills of volunteers, coaches and officials. 

New uniforms and equipment are also available with grants of up to $1,000 to help more players get involved. 

To help teams participate in competitions across the state $750 travel grants are also available. 

The Program is backed by the Regional Community Sport Development Fund and has injected more than $21 million into the community and supported thousands of clubs across the state.

Bullarto Station rolls out new look
