Woodend Winter Arts Festival
Celebrate the 20th Woodend Winter Arts Festival over the King’s Birthday long weekend in June.
Over four days, WWAF will present a dynamic, entertaining and engaging program in the charming village of Woodend, in the heart of the Macedon Ranges. World class performers will be joined by some of Australia’s brightest minds for a series of incredible performances and discussions.
The music program features international guests Davide Monti (violin) and Maria Christina Cleary (harp); along with Moroccan vocalist Lamiae Naki and her ensemble Seffarine. Direct from Vienna, Anne-Harvey-Nagl will perform Brahms’ three sonatas with John O’Donnell.
The Words & Ideas program will deliver engaging discussions and debates. Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with her great niece, Caroline Jane Knight, and explore William Morris’s designs with Christopher Menz.
