The final round of the Hepburn Shire Community Grants Program will open on March 31 but you can start preparing your application now.
Council has allocated a total of $65,000 for Community Grants in the current financial year. Approximately 25% of that total will be allocated in the fourth round.
Funding is available for new or one-off events or programs or new initiatives for existing events or programs. Projects must be conducted within Hepburn Shire for the benefit of residents.
Local incorporated not-for-profit groups and organisations including sporting clubs within the Shire are eligible. Unincorporated groups must have an incorporated auspicing agent.
Projects should fall into one of the following categories:
- Active and Engaged Communities
- Quality Community Infrastructure (including small equipment)
- Sustainable Environments
- Children’s Program (specifically for 8 – 12 years)
- Charitable Purposes (Birch and Holcombe Wards)

Applications close on April 28 and grants will be awarded at the Council meeting on June 21.
