The Keep Daylesford Beautiful group will present their case for changes to the development at 17 Smith Street Daylesford to the Department of Environment, Land, Water, and Planning Planning Panel Hearing this week.
The hearing will be on Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th of March.
The group has has engaged a barrister with excellent planning credentials and experience in dealing with community group causes for planning panels.
This follows a successful fund raising campaign to meet the costs of the hearing that has raised more than $11,000.
The group believes they have a prepared a strong case for changes to be made to the developer’s proposals. They look forward to reporting back to the community after the hearing.
A protest about the development is being held on Tuesday the 9th of March at 10 am at the old oak tree at 17 Smith Street.
