As part of her visit to Daylesford today, Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas MP visited Daylesford Primary School to open its $100,000 upgrade, which includes upgrades to the male, female and disabled toilet interior finishes and fixtures, and storage space upgrades.

“The little things can be really important for our students – which is why I’m so pleased that the toilets here at Daylesford Primary have been upgraded.”

Ventilation, windows, doors and skylights have also been refurbished.

The Victorian Government has invested $7.2 billion to deliver more than 1,460 school upgrades, supporting over 7,500 construction jobs for Victorians.

A total of 100 new schools will open by 2026 under the Victorian Government’s school building boom, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.

This building boom will continue over the coming years, with the Government having already appointed builders to start delivering 14 new schools that will open in 2021.
