The DNC has released its term 4 course brochure. Courses include learning Spanish, hospitality training and technology training.
The introductory Spanish course is 8 weeks for those new to Spanish and also for people who have done some previously and wish to revise the basics. The course will cover basic conversation through everyday contexts and themes. It will cover pronunciation, vocabulary, writing and reading. Learning through song is a highlighted feature.
By the end of this course, students will have the basic knowledge to be able to survive in a Spanish speaking environment, eg: ask for directions, order from a menu and simple greetings and conversation.
