Daylesford Primary School has given the Rotary Club of Daylesford the go ahead to operate and manage the Daylesford Farmers’ Market on the school premises after the  previous operators advised that they would not continue.

As soon as the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we intend to create a new, much expanded, dynamic, and exciting Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of every month between 9 am and 2pm. We look forward to the participation of all previous, and many new, local stall holders to usher in a brand new era for the Daylesford Rotary Farmers’ Market.

Daylesford Rotary is reliant on funds raised from two of our large events, the Art Show and the Farmers’ Market, for ongoing support of our local community and  international projects.  Like so many companies and organisations within our Shire, we need to adapt our operational approach to COVID-19 restrictions. We look to the community support for these endeavours.

Australian Rotary Clubs strive to make the world a better place through practical efforts. Aligned with this, funds raised by Daylesford Rotary from the Art Show and the Daylesford Rotary Farmers Market will enable us to give ongoing support for those most in need in our local Daylesford community.  COVID-19, has made us even more conscious of these needs.

If you have time to help us in our efforts and would like to learn more about our work, please feel free to telephone Rotary President David Stagg on 0418 336 191.
